PRETATOUT - Kmaxrom Design
Having retired from a career with K-9 units in the French army, ,Jonathan decided to build the knives that met his needs when he was on active duty. After leaving the army he then created Kmaxrom Design. His Philosophy is durability, strength and ergonomics.
The word Pretatout (or prêt à tout) is French for ''Ready for Everything'' and this knife fits that bill as one tough knife. With a 3.5 inch clip point S35VN blade (or a more decorative Damascus blade) and grooved handle for extra grip the Pretatout is indeed ready for everything..
The ''fuller groove'' down the top of the blade is taken from bayonet designs which helps give the blade added strength. This is not a myth - it's a fact that these grooves do increase the strength of the blade.
There are all black models for nightime stealth missions - or if you just want to look cool - and Tantos when you need that extra piercing power.
The Damascus model comes with a Timascus pocket clip - please see the photos.
