The KUBEY KU219


This rugged EDC folding knife has a sculptured Carbon Fiber handle giving it a great grip texture on both sides of the handle.

The KU219 has the thickest carbon fiber we've ever seen on a folding knife so far and it's exceptionally well milled. It's certainly going to take a lot to break this knife.

The BOHLER N690 steel blade comes in a stonewash finish with a highly functional  and exceptionally sharp spear point. Bohler N690 when properly hardened and sharpened is a fantastic steel. The blade is thick along the spine for strength but forged thin along the cutting edge allowing for very fine cutting work.

All titanium hardware finishes off the knife - pivot, pocket clip and screws are full 6AL4V titanium.

Satin finished standoffs complete the solid design. Check out the video below for the paper cutting test.

    These Make a Great Work Knife

    I purchased one of these as a work knife since I like carbon fiber and it looked pretty decent. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but I really got a great surprise on opening the box.

    The action on ceramic bearings is very smooth. But the thickness of the carbon fiber sides is amazing. It looks like a truck could run this over without breaking it. The combination of the milling and the unpolished carbon fiber gives it a sturdy non-slippery grip.

    The blade is extremely sharp straight from the box and the stone washed finish on my one has taken quite a lot of wear with no scratches or wear marks so far. I've cut open bags of cement, dug through gravel with it, cut rope and all sorts of other stuff with it no problem. I have washed grit out of the action a few times.

    If you're looking for a great knife made to take a beating this is one to look at. It's no fancy gentleman's folder but it can go places a fancy pants gentleman wouldn't dare. Great knife.
