The Maxace Corvus III

Due to it's popularity the Corvus is making a third return.

The Corvus was named after the constellation of the same name and is truly a stellar knife. Several factors combine to make this knife special, including the M390 steel blade, a sculpted "chipped flint" titanium handle, and incredibly smooth action.

The modified drop point blade is flat ground and opens from a titanium thumb stud or the flipper. Either method of deployment showcases the smooth, efficient spiraled style  multi-row ceramic ball-bearing system.

The Corvus III has either a sculpted Zirconium, Mokume or Timascus inlaid titanium handle with a tumbled finish on the titanium and highly polished on the inlays. The titanium on both the Mokume and Timascus models is anodized black.

The frame lock has a steel lock insert and over travel stop. Additionally, the handle has a milled pocket clip and a slightly offset backspacer with a side-set lanyard attachment point.

The Corvus includes a slim sculptured titanium pocket clip for tip-up carry and comes in a Pelican style waterproof case for stoage which features -

- folding rubberized handle
- twin latches
- rubber waterproof O ring
- pressure relief valve
- pick and pluck foam

outstanding products and service from true talon

Glad you like the knife Michael and thanks for the kind words.

The Corvus III is an outstanding knife from Maxace. It's very limited numbers make it more of a collection knife than a user. We couldn't get enough to satisfy the demand and there's still customers on the hunt for them.

Fortunately Maxace do make cheaper knives that are suitable as users. I personally use a Maxace Perseus (MagnaCut blade) and a Corvus II.

I doubt we will see any Corvus III again though.

She’s a beauty!

I’ve had my knife for two years. I carry it with me in my pocket every day and I love it. The hardware is starting to come loose and I was looking for info on the torx sizes and proper care for cleaning the internals and rebuild/sharpening.

What a knife !

Wow, the quality of the opening and closing action is silky smooth, in conjunction with a blade made from m390 that just looks like it could dissect anything.
All packaged up in a pelican case for added value and storage.
